Planning

Guidelines: Determining a work structure

1.

A work structure starts with the highest level, namely the project objective.

2.

The project objective is broken down into deliverables

3.

The deliverables are broken down into tasks.

NB! The manner in which the tasks are broken down must help to manage the project!

4.

To make a task more manageable, the smallest task should take no longer than 5 days to complete.

5.

Each entry is numbered. (In MS Project, you can add a field for "Unique ID", which does automatic numbering.)
