The project life cycle |
|
The term Project Life Cycle refers to the various
phases of a project from its beginning to its end.
Phase 0 is an
informal phase namely Justification. Then four
formal phases follow
namely Initiation, Planning, Implementation and Conclusion. Each
formal phase is explained by means of a flow chart. Templates and
guidelines are also available for each phase.

Justification |
|
|
|
|
This is an informal
phase during which the idea for a project is discussed within an
environment to test its viability and expediency. It is also during this
phase that the environment decides on which basis the project will be
managed and to which extent the PROJEKtUS methodology will be used. The
scale, scope and budget of the project play an important role in this decision. |
