Contingency funds (risks)

1.

These funds are directly linked to certain risks.

2.

These funds are not allocated to the project from the start. They are merely reserved.

3.

Should a risk realise, the relevant funds become available.

 

 

Contingency funds (other)

1.

This amount will be minimal if the project planning has been done properly.

2.

This is used, for example, to absorb small price fluctuations.
