Do you have a broad project plan that will deliver the deliverables of high quality, fast and cost-effectively?

Have the basic questions been identified that need to be answered in order to know whether the project will be feasible or not?

Does the project have an owner acting as champion?

Is there a draft business plan indicating the expected benefits for the organisation?

Can you describe the scope of the project?

 

 

8.

Can you broadly describe who will do the various blocks of work until the end of the project?

 

 

9.

Is there a realistic plan for the entire project in order to allocate specific tasks?

 

 

10.

Does the Projects' Board consider this project of sufficient importance compared with other projects to justify an investment in its further planning?

 

 

11.

Have the assumptions in terms of factors impacting on the costs and benefits been outlined clearly? Has the impact of changes to it been considered?

 

 

12.

Does the project support the strategic objectives of the organisation?

 

 

13.

Does the management believe this project represents the best use of funds and resources compared with other projects?

Did management explicitly authorise this project?

If a person who is not conversant with the project should read the initiation document, will he/she be able to manage the project in order to achieve the desired outputs?
