It could be viewed as slightly biased since some of the questions do not have a clear yes and no answer and have more of a answer based on what the person who set the questionnaire wants to get.

I think it's good and that the researchers can get to know more about first year students and how they are coping so far in their first year of varsity. As long as the people doing the survey take into consideration of what the first year thinks this surv
The questions on 'top priority issues' in South Africa are unecessary as the moral views of students can be attained through the other questions. Also ideas like abortion etc are dependant on religious and cultural views.
I felt that the questions were very relevent and that the questionnaire was set up and articulated very well.
Its good as it tries to find out how us first years are coping with all aspects of our every day lives in our first year of higher education learning. Its also shows the difficulties first years have to overcome. Thanks

I sincerely hope that the answers are taken as seriously in their consideration as they were in their being-answered. Questionnaires like this are important for giving the students a way to communicate thoughts as well as to reach out for help.
Good variety of questions. I think that more could have been asked about residence life/staying somewhere else and commuting. Both take up quite a bit of time: residences expect you to put a lot of time inot activities
